- Unfortunately Borland has made another attempt at increasing sales for
- v5.0. Check out
- http://loki.borland.com/shellbin/bugvers.pl?product=1.+BC+5.0a
- which is where you get to if you go to
- http://loki.borland.com/Cpp/BugSrch.htm
- and search for all the bugs in Borland C++ v5.0a (which is v5.0 with
- the patch). If you check out any of the bugs on this list they will
- all say "Fixed" but the complete inaccuracy is that they are fixed in
- patch BC50P1.RTP. Umm, is anyone wake at Borland? How can v5.0a have
- a bug that was fixed in the patch that made v5.0 become v5.0a? Maybe
- someone at Borland will get the msg and fix this so users aren't miss
- led.
-
- Beside that I believe Borland is a good company and have a much better
- compiler than Visual C++ but for some reason released Borland C++ far
- too early. Once v5.1+ comes out I think it will be a great product,
- well worth the money. I hope that day is soon.
-
- BTW- all of those who think this msg is unrelated to comp.lang.c++
- sorry for wasting you time because I know you have to read EVERY msg
- in the group in order to feel secure.
